The following story happened a couple days before JBG was hospitalized.
My sister took JBG to bed with her on this particular night while my brother-in-law and KMG made a fort in the living room. JBG was having an especially difficult night....not getting comfortable....his breathing was very labored (more so than normal)...etc. It was a rough night.
The next morning the following conversation took place in the car while Kristy was driving KMG to school:
KMG: Hey mommy...
KRG: Yes, Michael?
KMG: I dreamed about a ghost last night.
KRG: (Disturbed because she doesn't know why Michael would even know the word "ghost", much less what a ghost is). A ghost? What did it look like?
KMG: It was a blue ghost.
KRG: Well what did the ghost want?
KMG: It came to get my baby brother Braxton, but I said "Go away ghost! You can't have my baby brother!"
There was more, but that's the gist of the conversation. Apparently KMG shot the ghost with an arrow and scared it away.

When Kristy told me this story, I simply HAD to google "blue ghost". My research tells me that a blue ghost is typically representative of the archangel, Michael, who - in Christianity - is the Angel of Death.
Thanks for protecting your baby brother, Michael. You amaze me.
